Added an extension on the front of the trike to mount the velomobile body framework. I created 2 jigs out of coroplast to set the ground clearance.

These 2 pictures show how tiller steering was added.

Tiller steering is movable to get in and out and is positioned in the center to allow your arms to be in tighter for a more streamlined body.

Continuing with the frame

okay So hello; As I'm not sure how this works or how I hear back from you should you choose to reply This may be a short talk
So I am visiting your page As I am in the process of building a hand rowing recumbent tadpole style Trike and have been searching the web for all thing Trike, I plan to use old bike parts as much as is possible. As I saw several people build out of wood I thought I might trey a system of multiple inner locked PVC pipe as I have a large stock pile laying around. The largest of this is 2"dia. with I think the smallest that will fit inside that will be 1"dia. with three various other sizes between. this will be close to a comparable steel frame of the same diameter but it will provide a bit of springiness to the over all ride. the main reason I came to your page today was that due to my pour sight I thought you had a dual powering system both hand and foot pedaling and was interested in seeing how you had done it. The best I have been able to come up with as I want hand rowing power is a odd gear and sleave design I found on Pintrest of all places. I am having to fabricate this from scratch ( and I do mean scratch I am pouring my own aluminum blanks ) then machining them into the parts of the afoar mentioned parts. By using the frunt forks off of two ol bikes I will build the frunt stearing set up with of all things a foot system of steering. If this design works out I am planning to add a custom body to it that will form the basis for a local Trike business as well as a club for the customers top join in an effort to see what all designs we can come up with for show. I have been in the custom feild on and off from the times of Van customizing which I had the chance to learn from one of California's own pros. My idea for my first and probably several will be after the ol Hot rods did with the even older C Cab trucks back in the day. I want to build one as a circus train with the ring leaders trike and then a traler for my Chow Chow to ride in as my lion, This will be for parades. Enough of my pontificating I like your build and wish you the best with your rides.
